Doubt there are any mobos that support x2 5000, but dont have PCI-E. Get the extra 2GB of ram, should run you $50 or so. Then upgrade that videocard, for about $80-90 you can get a 9600 GT http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&Description=9600%20gt&bop=And&ActiveSearchResult=True&Order=RATING $100-120…
Mop: I did try to make it clear that I'm not against the English, I am against England. I am not basing my opinions on a book about the past, I am basing it upon my life up until this point. I regret I cannot impart the totality of my understand upon this board anymore than others can impart their wisdom to me. I am making…
Sorry I think I gave you backwards advice (I always mix the #s up!) The bias multiplier on the DBA expression should have the higher #, the bias should be between 0-1 space.
That was actually a sound advice in your last paragraph but dont you think a good advice should have been to walk away from the discussion when the discussion is turned in to personal war? Stuff like "You are a brilliant troll," "Oh you are a seventeen year old kid," "And I am suppose to take the advice from someone who is…
There's that cartoonist guy! [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4n4YSF8BsQ&playnext=1&list=PLC35D028C20ED6267&index=42[/ame] Doesn't have power exactly, but I am not sure I understand your premises. Does Sarah Palin hold any political power anymore? People saying there have been zero left wing radical groups and…
I didn't know what unsigned vs. signed means, so I asked one of the programmers here. Here's how he explained it to me. I added emphasis to highlight the meat of the issue... "Actually, we do use signed textures for normal maps, although we dont support loading them at the moment. The unsigned normal maps are converted.…
in skyrimprefs.ini look for: iShadowMapResolution=512 for shadows the only issue i've really had is the shadow bias being really bad at points and having the shadows flicker. I'm going to try tweaking the shadow bias scale setting in the skyrimprefs.ini and figure things out.
Is this only happnening when the light direction is at a sharp angle? If so it is a shadow bias artefact. You can play around with shadow bias to 'fix' it. If it is normal map banding, try manually converting the 16bit image in photoshop to 8bit.
Hey Ace. By "dropping" do you mean you'r changing your bias to negative values? As far as I remember, mip bias needs to be positive. edit: Just checked it in the December build. No dice, setting it to either negative or positive values does nothing :(
