The 175.80 with 8800GT, Vista 64-bit, Maya 2008 ext2 32-bit, works fine! Thanks a lot for the all the good effort in this thread. Keep updating this lovely shader Brice. I am going to let my students try this shader this Wednesday.
Hello, I bought a ps3, and have these games PES 2009 HomeFront God of war 3 please suggest games for me.... :) i'm thinking of mgs4 and soul calibur PS: ahh, and i have a 32 inch HD screen now :)
I can0t find any info on the main site on this , but I remember some people where saying the new 5th update woudl have featuered a 64 version , where can I read that and how can I do to update m 4th version 32 bit to a 64 bit?
(3dmax) I don't understand them. I realize they affect the normals of the selected polys. But how do I used them effectively? I dont understand the 1-32 buttons or what their use is. I'm familiar with maya's process of changing the normal angle. Hopefully this tread isn't too noob. ;] Thanks :)
This has nothing to do with Adobe. It's just a limitation of the GIF file format. It's from the 80's back when alpha blending was a bit too much to ask of the average PC. Save to a 32-bit PNG and it'll look fine.
Your lighting looks a bit messed up in general here, do you have object space enabled with a tangent space normal map? Also, make sure you're saving your spec as 32 bit and not 24 bit.
I'm still waiting for official Windows 8 support. I'm aware that it somewhat works in 32 bit mode, but I'd love to get it working without any fiddling around and renaming files. https://twitter.com/cryengine/status/370499638685868032
I believe it is set up correct, but maybe I am missing something. Under Renderable Cameras I have the alpha channel(mask) checkbox checked,32 Bit Framebuffer, and EXR format...Anything else I'm missing?
I've been looking into some Lenovo laptops and they seem pretty good for 3d. I don't understand why "Gamer " laptops have over 8gb of ram though. Aren't most games these days 32 bit in the first place?
are you opening it in 4R7 64 bits version? if not, try that since it handles larger ztools than the regular 32 bits one. else it seems like it would be about time to dig through the Quicksave folder in search of something salvageable.
