I did this for a 300 level class at Ferris State University. I know the hair's crap but other than that how'd I do? any tips on future projects/ how to make hair (with out zbrush's actual hair fibers)?
model Day 1! Aiming for the lower end of the allowed 300 tri count with these challenges. 28 tris 256 x 256 diffuse Sometimes the thumbnail is upside down, not sure how to fix that.
Those hand-painted normals on that character are the bomb. Only 10K man-hours? I would have thought it would take 20-30K man hours to to paint a grayscale bumpmap that detailed.
Retopo is underway! Currently sitting at 17K tris, I'm hoping to keep it under or around 30k with everything included. Might be a stretch, but we'll see how it goes. Thoughts or suggestions are always welcome!

I got pissed how they jewed everyone out of a hard drive, so I'll be waitin till the price drops so that I can get the non-idiot version for around $300 .
Toss me into the fray with the Spartan's at the battle of Thermopylae. 7000 Greeks and 300 Spartan's .vs. 2 million Persian soldiers. Incredible. I'd need the usual cheats of course, /god /give all
The 4% came from your assertion that a subscription was half a months wages -which is about 4% of the yearly. My max licence costs around £300 a year. Not sure what that works out to in US . Probably close to 8% really.
I knew it's bad but THIS is ridiculous! My two last flats where 300€ / 500€ with everything - the latter big enough for two people. Food for one person around 100
