What? I thought we were just talking about a 32-bit restriction here? A 32-bit XP (or vista) system with 4GB will read as 2.5-3.5GB of ram once you're booted up.
Yeah. Best new thing I've seen. Here it is August 12th...they've got just about 2.5 weeks to finish and push all this shit out the door. (They did say before the end of August)
If my understanding of Topogun is correct, it doesn't just allow you to draw topology over another mesh, it will also transfer across the high frequency detail. Like one of the new features in the elusive zbrush 2.5
Flat normals in Toolbag (and most other applications that use normal maps) are 127.5, 127.5, 255. This is technically in between 7f7fff and 8080ff, but either of those should work. There is no way to remap the normal map input. Could you provide some more information about the problem you're trying to solve?
Hey! I have been working on this Murloc from WoW for fun and am nearly finished with the High Poly sculpt. Any feedback welcome :) I will be retopping, texturing and rigging him. Mrglglglg! (Main Reference) - https://www.wowhead.com/npc=285/murloc#modelviewer:10+0
I see. You have to understand, I'd really rather spend my time (which has become limited since working at Splash) on improving the Max version (like going for 2.5) than do a Maya version which by definition will be more limited than max (no shadows for example).
Quick speed sculpt I did this morning of a native american warrior dude, took about 2.5 hours, sculpted from a sphere. Have some time set aside today to get that clown sculpt I did earlier together too, hopefully I'll get to post on that soon :)
keep in mind that the cheapest version (which I have) doesn't have lots of harddisk space. If you really need to bring along e.g. a model or texture library then you should get an external 2.5" thunderbolt or USB3 harddisk, which come in sizes of up to 2 TB nowadays.
perma, is playthrough 2.5 a new mode? or just playing through again, kinda thing btw.... am I the only one who thinks it's weird that the entire series is built around being a "vault hunter".... yet, we have never been in a single vault? Our characters suck.
I'll be sitting right here in 2.5 hours waiting for more info to come flooding in. Just in time for lunch EST. I would love to play any past Nintendo game. Especially old two player ones, online, but that's probably getting my hopes up. Contra anyone?
