Jackablade is right, Unless you wanted to go with a very realistic treatment you could go with straight modelling, no alpha. It will give more of a stylised look wich look like it would fit the character perfectly

I quite like your stylised way of drawing, it's colourful and vibrant. The knight is my favourite piece from these, and I also like the old man. Your 2020 stuff is very much improved. Keep on.
The wrist joints look really large, almost like he's swelling from an injury :D If this is part of a stylisation choice then the wrist's thickness will likely need to accommodate the size of the joint bones, but the fingers look great!
Thanks for your input, i forgot to mention that i am aiming for a stylised version from the jurassic park series, though the utahraptor is very similar so it would be great help to base the anatomical features on.
