I wanted to create a game prop inspired by Cory Loftis' concept art of a floating fish tank, but I wanted it to be highly stylised and graphical - what better inspiration than Borderlands! Here is Mr Shiny the Travelling Fish. He is not a friendly chap.
Now let's say he is a really intelligent fish and can control the tank with his mind to go where he wants, and there is a voice synthesizer so he can talk.
You added so much personality to that fish beyond the concept, I really dig that.
How did you get that edge outline effect around the model? You can't do any sort of shader magic for that in Sketchfab right? It almost looks like you modeled in one sided black strips to achieve that?

The edge outline effect can be achieved by duplicating the mesh, invert its normal, push it out a little( the further you push the thicker the line is going to get), and apply an unlit diffusion material to it. Or at least that is the trick with Toolbag.
Cool! Really nice handling of the style. The "eyes" on the tank read well from the front, but get a bit lost on the side and profile view. Though, that's kind of a minor accent anyway. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks everyone, some great feedback - glad that I have managed to capture the Borderlands feel with this prop!
For those that have been asking about the outline effect - @harry1511 hit it on the head. The mesh is duplicated and made slightly larger than the original, dependent on how thick an outline is required. Then normals are reversed so as to point inwards, and then an unlit, black material/texture is applied. Useful technique but of course you will be doubling your polycount to achieve it!

Also he has La Tourette.
Better ( or worse ) than a Cl4p-tr4p companion.
For what I see, I'd guess you did a second mesh with a bigger scale, inverted the normals and gave it a black diffuse color. Is that right?
Anyways, awesome job!

Everything else was very well done.
