This looks excellent. I'm guessing the person swinging this thing gets blood on their hands quite often, which stains the handle wrappings. The brown discolouration on the blades seems enough to me; mostly rust with a hint of old blood stains.
indeed, nature can be quite surprising at times. But assymetry doesn't have to mean a '1/0' choice. i think the best solution would be keeping one long stain and putting small stains below other bolts. but i can imagine that during development there's no time to customize details so much.

the dirt you have applied is too consistent, what about drip stains rust stains from the metal, the water line on the boat(it was once a working boat so where did the water come up to), maybe the odd barnacle
I have an issue with pugna's nether ward. In the menu it requires animation for spawn, idle and die. However when i test it ingame it only loops the spawn animation. (ignore the textures) i have tried to upload this ward as courier and to my surprise, everything is going as it should: Does anyone know what's going on?
