I think it's fairly safe to say that you're going to have a bad time trying to stay with perfect human proportions. I also think that they always had her arms going to both the arm cannon and through her left arm, at least this was especially shown off in the Metroid Prime concepts: -

!!! i agree with that completely. i forget which level it was but there was one where you had to take out 3 artillery cannons as you assaulted an endless amount of enemies with little to no cover around, whilst they lobbed endless grenades at you! i spent so much time trying to beat that level. -

Awesome, :) yeah it's lookin good I love the specular highlights on the hand really feels metal but I'm noticing a lack of specular highlights on the arm with the cannon. EDIT: Oh shit! disregard my most recent comment, I just noticed you edited your original post. great job! -

Took the files you sent me and did a quick mashup of how a gun fight between two robots might look, shopped in a quick sombrero. Series' cannon be damned. Just a quick mashup with a crappy photoshopped sombrero, lighting could obviously be better. Run with the idea if you want to dude. -

Nice looking chopper. Only crit from me is that the large cannon assembly in the tail section looks like it would throw the center of mass too far back for this to be a stable firing platform. Perhaps pulling the nose out further as a visual counterweight would help center it back on the rotor shaft. -

Pelvic elements need more detail. Can't easily tell how the thighs rotate from the pelvis. Or how the midsection rotates as well. Once again, this detailing issue is systemic across the model, not just hand. Assault cannon also looks too simple as well; could benefit from more detailing. -

They used highly compressed care bears made out of lead and stuffed into tiny cartridges and delivered like a T-Shirt cannon at some kind of sporting event... His heart couldn't handle the love... I hear it was a rainbow striped one that finally got him. Perhaps they need to rethink their delivery method. -

Looks sweet man. Think about pushing the stylised thing a little more maybe? He has this monster machine on his back so maybe you could make his musculature a little more top heavy or even push the asymmetry on to the side with the cannon arm. Great job on the facial hair. -

I couldn't really see at that res, but it looks like the fpv weapons don't have huge smoothing errors all over them anymore :P Looks really nice with all the fire effects, I'm putting this on my "looking forward to" list Question - is Extraction Point considered to be cannon according to this sequel?
