WIP Hi world, this is my Yakuza artwork, which I developed during my participation in the ArtStation challenge "Neo Tokyo: Exponential Reality" in the Film/VFX Character Art category (rendered). This experience was incredibly exciting and allowed me to navigate the entire 3D pipeline, from likeness sculpting, modeling, and…
I like Arnold Schwarzenegger films. I also enjoy the pulp fiction Destroyer series of books written by Warren Murphy and Richard Sapir. Both of which would raise eyebrows in snooty intellectual circles. I refuse to apologise for liking them but I won't try to paint them as great intellectual works of our time.
So the final result in marmoset done. I was going to do it only in arnold but I made a big mistake by updating version in the middle of the lookdev which screwed up all my shader. :( Right now i almost got everything back but still some adjustement to make. In the meantime, marmoset was perfect to get an idea
I hope he doesn't mind but I always refer people to Chris Arnold's work on WAR when it comes to terrain textures and blending, specifically the stuff for Hunter's Vale and Land of the Dead. The textures are made to work with each other, incorporating elements from the texture it blends into. It helps get rid of that…
looks terrible. Its like rehashing t1 and 2 and then discarding them at the same time. If they are gonna do a reboot style of movie, then get rid of old arnold. Get someone like the rock or someone new. This is like a joke movie spoof they come out with every year after a big release haha.
Hello! Just over a year ago I released my first ever solo developed game, Galaxy Drift. A sci-fi isometric racing game based on classics like RC-Pro Am and F-Zero. Built in Godot using pre-rendered backgrounds created in Maya and textured in Substance Painter, Galaxy Drift was a passion project that helped me learn about…
I didn't use sub-D for hard surface modelling for a decade already . Because for hard surface things it's either sbs with bevel node on uv islands or rounding shaders to bake into normal map. Arnold , Octane , Cycles all have them . No hi res models necessary at all. Or sometimes its CAD modelling but often doesn't require…
Brush Railcar Rendered in Arnold, environment materials from Quixel megascans. I normally only put in a few hours after work to work on this and it feels like it's taken forever to finish.. I wasn't originally going to make an environment, but I'm so glad I put in the extra time to do it. Any comments welcome!…
Will we ever have rendering directly in zbrush like its vray, arnold, corona etc. ? Also i think zbrush need clothing simulation and sewing, and some better and quick way to UV/unwrap models. What do you guys think? I really hope and i am optimistic to see this happening in the next 5-10 years.
Hello guys i started a new project . my goal will be to make a model with good anatomy , make realistic skin , likness , good light setup and render in arnold and to push it a little further i'll use Xgen for hairs , and it is going to be a hairy one . your input is highly regarded and needed . so here are some reference (…
