See, I don't believe that plugin is worth £30 ($45-ish i guess)... the free one is alright, but the functionality is limited, especially if you want to quickly make everything a certain texel density. Also it doesn't seem to have any "average size" mode. I prefer mine ;) I'd release it for free if I could!
well i finaly got the damn thing runing, played a bit, then stopped to get food, fixing to play again.. but when i clicked the Hl2 icon team decided to validate steam files.. which so far has taken over 5 minutes and its at 45% .. will it do this shit everytime i want to play?
Has anyone checked it out? I got a chance to see it last weekend. Hands down my favorite movie of the year or No Country For Old Men. I really recommend checking it out if you like Daniel Day-Lewis at all. Just a heads up, it's 2 hours and 45 mins long, but it's great. The score was the weakest part to me.
7:45 am. on a saturday. what sadistic son of a bitch decided it would be good to hold a 4 hour test on a saturday morning? my plan to get ready: not study a single thing, go to bed at like 10 or something, have breakfast, go and do my best. oh and i have to try and not stab the proctor in the neck.
Had to uninstall today. In my stats it shows I've been on multiplayer for 45 minutes, yet I have still not been able to get in game. Changed my NAT settings, lowered firewall, made sure all my cords were connect (even though other games work). :(
I would hazard to guess it's around 50/50 Maya and Max. I believe California is about 45% to 50% of the US game industry so if you're in a densely packed area of Maya studios it might feel more dominant than the more spread out studios across the rest of the country.
~30-45 min more work on this last night, added some signs and details. next up is green and some more foliage types i guess. i really want to steer away from using alphas with this thing, hoping ill find a nice grip for solid plane foliage.
I forgot. I can see you have those loops 90 degrees perpendicular to the surface, so what you can do is go to polygon subobject mode and use 'by angle' selection. Play with selection degrees, maybe 45 (default) will be alright, can't see whole model. Cheers!
I'd recommend krita(free), there's a new wrap around feature, you just press "W" and paint http://youtu.be/9ICGks0-InQ link to download http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=281&t=117747&start=45#p296057 edit: just noticed you said automatic solution, well .. :/
