Silly video I made between projects for my 6000th follower [ame] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24k2BkBmCI0[/ame] Did some VFX on this one before my semester finished http://www.rode.com/myrodereel/watch/entry/204
There WAS a short with a very similar idea, about 10 years ago. It was wacky as hell, and was shown as part of the Siggraph Animation festival thing in 2004 or so. I doubt this guy will get any nods from Pixar though: http://vimeo.com/65904443
Get an Wacom, in my experience the Chinese knock-offs don't work as reliably, they are supported in fewer software and don't last long. My wife has an intous3 she has had since 2004, she still uses it every day.
somehow i imagine one of those 15 yers old kids with a colection of 50 000 mp3 of nirvana and with a bowl like haircut laughing becaudse he "PWND cgchat!!11" its sad...i hope that they get back online
The big deal was it came out in 2004. It did a great deal for storytelling, immersion, and just plain illusion of life in linear shooters. The basic gameplay, though, was hitscan turret combine soldiers and the magical medpack journey. Did not age well at all.
i'm still learning on UnrealED 2004 and i have an issue with my alphas flashing on screen. I'm pretty sure it is because of the overlap of the several alphas and a the rendering process is getting confused as to which one to show?? maybe i'm wrong. anyone know how to fix my problem. thanks!
