It won't save you from restarting, but setting up shortcuts to 3dsmax.exe with -vx -vd will boot max into the corresponding viewport mode, vx being nitrous. Doesn't UDK have similar visual tools? Or is that just for shader complexity and not pixel density? You might be able to set the desired parameters to match your stats and just drop the things in UDK. MoP's normalization script idea that was rolled into TexTools was also added to 3dsmax2012, its called "Rescale Elements".… -

I know that our analysis was that we fixed the ones we could reproduce and that were most severed - but that is all relative. What we think is severe might not be what you think is severed. We might not have fixed the one bug that gives you the most pain. I'd wait for the trial download and try that. There is a CAT forum… -

What's your problem ? Getting the texture from the game or just applying them in max ? Valve's texture are in .vtf format, which max doesn't recognize by default. Easiest fix is to delete the 3dsmax.ini file...or head over to Scriptspot and look for a reset Windows script...there are plenty ;)
