did you even read that article? she got threats not for wanting games to be better. she is got it for being feminist. I can see how one is related to another in this case, but she is not involved with videogames production as I am, so I don't see how her story can be relevant to mine. -

Akhibara isn't really that big an area in Tokyo, but it is very odd there. One store I visited had videogames on the ground floor, manga and anime on the second. Various toys and plushies next. No one has commented on this, and without sounding like I have a chip on my shoulder I'll say this: Polycount - that is, the people who make up the community - pride themselves on seeing other people develop as videogame artists. It's mostly unspoken, but I believe it to be true whether we'd admit it publicly or not. ;)… -

I'm guessing I was either crunching the university computer to get my final animation piece finished, rushing around the country interview videogame company MDs for my dissertation, or trying to make ends meet by working in the local industrial laundry. I bought nothing. You guys are lucky to live in a country where you get special deals, especially special deals on videogames. I've never seen those in any serious capacity. Hell, sometimes I hear there are stores in the US that are doing 2 for the price of one specials (or 3 on 2) on new games. -
