Ok I just installed as an upgrade from vista and seems to have worked keeping all my programs setup. Also found all these tips http://blogs.msdn.com/tims/archive/2009/01/12/the-bumper-list-of-windows-7-secrets.aspx
@Eric Chadwick This is in fact the best velvet-looking results I have seen in real-time shaders, amazing work! Unfortunately, I am currently tied to standard PBR shader maps. The second link though gave very great tips, especially regarding the normal map. Thank you. @poopipe I have to deliver the model for an AR…
Hi guys, Finally able to share some screenshots from the Rise of the Tomb Raider: Blood Ties dlc we at Nixxes Software made together with Crystal Dynamics. Mostly worked on modelling and materials, with some prop dressing. Thanks for taking a look!
TiTs: Like your materials are SO nice, what tips and tricks could you share on how to achieve it? maybe a look at your flat textures/ even some settings used in marmoset. Pretty much anything you are willing to share about that :DD

Thanks for the tips, guys! My environment is almost complete! The Japanese scene from Tim Simpson's really inspired me to compose this one! Next I'm going to "give some more love" to the props that I have and start another environment where I can make use of Trim Sheets!
