I steal all mine from the iMac. My favorite is the one with the snowy mountains. Though lately I've been using this minimalist background - also from Apple. For quick resizing of images, I like to use Irfanview. I've been using it since 2003 and it's never failed me.
Sometime around 2003, methinks. All I could do was apply TrueSpace's default materials. I knew nothing of actual texturing or UV maps. I also stole his head from Turbosquid. Also, I stole this entire skeleton from Turbosquid and just modeled the equipment:
Ha my bad I watched 1 set of Digital tutors and just assumed everyone talked like him.... :P LC is Light Cache and Sub = subdivisions and i brought my threshhold down to .001 I will let ya know after this week of rendering JK :P
