Can't believe nobody has mentioned this yet. Sell your car. Don't bother driving in this city. It's stupidly expensive. Parking in my apartment building is considered CHEAP at $160 a month, and parking near Gameloft will run you an extra $150 a month (with no reimbursement). Trust me. I've lived in LA, and Vancouver. I…
I have two syncmasters with that retarded creamy white issues, both at 21" with a max of 1680 in rez. Now I see this, now I want to sell them or something and just get this :| Two monitors would be nice if I didn't also use this computer to play games, which means it always crashes and bugs out because :D
Lightroom seemed like bridge + adobe photo raw, but slower.... Dunno if i missed something there, i should probably give it another look. I've been using bridge for sorting/etc, and Canon Digital Photo Pro for most of my RAW work, as it seems to actually be able to save 16b/channel TIFF files. Adobe photo raw has some cool…
making the low poly. yellow - already modeled part (1600+ tris), gray - sculpt (13000000+ tris) I model it as a hero asset, so the polycount isn't really "low"
I'm not a Maya guy, but sounds like one of two things... the renderer (or viewport it renders from) is using a lower bit depth, or the output format is not a sufficient bit depth. For the latter, maybe try 16bpc instead of 8bpc? Also you might look into whether the renderer will let you turn off true-color dithering, I…
I've been getting my desktops here lately: http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/index.php?w=1680&h=1050&sort=ratings&id=&page=1 They're available in 10 resolutions, including PSP-sized. They're all pretty high quality images. There are about 650 or so.
The Mafer clamp you posted wont attach to a flat surface like a desk very well. Your best bet for a clamp would probably be a matthellini grip. Then you would attach two gobo arms forming an L and then something like this on the end to convert the 5/8 pin to a threaded mount:…
The problem though is that when calculating two integers that results in a float, like 999 divided by 6, the 166.5 gets rounded to 166. I'm wanting the result to instead either be a integer (when it's an integer obviously) or a float (when it's a float). I should have given this a different title to this.
Terragen indeed mostly if your location doesn't matter that much (altho TBH I am not sure you can't scout location and find our the topological data of them). Lately I've seen photogrametry taken by either choppers or drones (5K pictures for each pic, composed of 400 shots average for an emviro) then processed in photoscan…
