I added some more props, tweaked the background, and I'm in the process of adding decals to break up the repetitive textures. The lighting needs to be rebuilt. Cannon now with a %100 more bird shit decals! I still need to ruff up the texture a bit. -

You dont need a pirate ship as reference. Pirate ships are just modified normal tradingships. So just pick the reference of some tradingships. Put some cannons on them and make them look more "evil" by adding flags, signs, damaged parts. -

Wait hold on I just realized that they released the player models with the SDK a few months back. http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=2711 Cannon Fodders decompiler does work but you have to hex edit the mdl files as I talked about above. -

1) Robots 2) Explosions 3) Christian Bale's fake raspy voice. How, again, could this possibly be anything but awesome?. Also, the last robot has a giant freaking laser cannon for a head. That seems like a pretty efficient use of engineering to me. -

Mecha Scizor
Finished Model Decided to start this project based off of a concept by Thiago Almeida. Still have a lot of work on the torso/back but I've done some material tests on his legs and added a cannon in his claw. I'll be trying to wrap up the high poly topology this weekend. Concept by Thiago Almeida -

i think it looks pretty good! the only 2 things id say is maybe add have the crane arm turn into a cannon and the nose of the smart car be the chest area but other than that im liking so far cant wait to see more -

i hear ya man_o_mule... Yes the pistols are easily one of the best weapons in the game, just wait until you play around with the particle rifle and the repeating cannon, pretty much 1-hit instant kills regardless where you hit the target -

Here is the low poly with the normals. I am still working on cleaning up the normals. I have removed the rings because they didnt really fit the sci fi feel and added some small antenna that would be lit and used as part of the remote control of the cannon. -
