Lone Wolf And Cub series - some of the coolest movies ever. (Shogun assassin is the re-cut westernised version, avoid!) Here is a vid that doesn`t tell you much about the movies but has a cool (t)rack [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7NifQowTX8[/ame]
Doesn't take a genius to work out.....if you look at the job pages, they've hired a large amount of people in the last three months, the e3 was a demo, to get cash and hype for the game they make after....same with watch dogs, same with far cry 2 and assassins creed 1.
yeah, i think the only disappointment from Ubisoft was assassins creed. i kinda wish they'd just kill that series now, or at the least just let me tear up a modern day templar building with Desmond. seeing this in realtime blew my fucking mind though:
I loved those Hugo games. Those must have been the first PC games I played. Along with Maniac Mansion. But I think my favorite game with crap art would be Tenchu: Stealth Assassins for the Ps1. God awful art, but very entertaining gameplay.
Here's some silhouette I drew. For the base/shadow assassin scythe I think i'll go with the number 4, this one gives me the most the arclight vibe and I really like it. MIght inspire myself from tthe number 1 for the demon one.
A videogame crossover request from a friend of mine who wanted a character from Dragon Age 2 put into the Assassin's Creed universe. Visual concept was inspired by one of Craig Mullen's AC illustrations for Ubisoft, although the setting was changed to accommodate a more exotic locale.
I know it's not straight up animation, but I'm currently working on more assets for the the Animation community. The latest being an Assassin character rig available here ( www.3dFiggins.com/Store ) Here's a video about the features: https://vimeo.com/160470628 Up next is an Adventurer. Enjoy!
Really there's just AAA and indie. If it was a game that got shipped and you see it on Gamestop's shelves, it can be considered AAA. You may be thinking about what has been recently coined "Blockbuster games," like Assassin's Creed or some other massively funded project.
I'm starting the Noob Learning Challenge late so I don't have a moodboard. I'm heading straight into thumbnailing /brainstorming. Here's what I have so far. I try and get a more out tomorrow afternoon so I can start fleshing everything out. For now we have the Knight, Female Mage, and Assassin.
Is anyone playing this now? All I can say is wow... this game is incredibly beautiful. The animations are also very well done, and the character movement is alot more refined I think than from Assassins Creed. I'm having a blast with it, and am prob. idk 1/3 of the way into the game? Edit: Damnit... spelt Persia wrong...
