[ QUOTE ] This is the uncompressed 32-bit targa (8 bit alpha) equivalent DDS format. However it's larger than the original targa in filesize! [/ QUOTE ] DDS can contain mipmaps, so the additional size could well be those.
@Q-ro, had the same problem before, in my case I did not set the TGA files for the mask1 and mask2 to 32-bit. Reviewing the shader mask tutorial might help, it did for me.
@SnowInChina: It's fine as long as it's 32 bit raw, anything lower is fit only for instagram. @Jed: I have no problems with PNG when people are using it for what it is good at. But it seems like people rarely are.
I am being very happy to read your criticism about my affort. White Raven Games Case 32 http://whiteravendevs.tumblr.com/ https://www.facebook.com/pg/whiteravengames/about/?ref=page_internal
Fuck. £44.99 to buy it digitally, via Battlenet. I can find it through google shopping for £32. Why the hell is it so expensive, and I don't get a booklet, a box, physical media, etc?
I saw a tutorial a while back where as long as you're keeping it as a 32-bit float and not dropping it to 16 then you can just change the .vrimg extension to .exr when saving - no need to convert.
installed both 64 and 32 bit version on my vista 64 machine and i didnt get past the load file. i load a file and then its just black. nothing shows up:(
3do button does nothing. when i click it "loading mesh and textures" thing appears for a moment. then, nothing happens. i have win8.1 32 bit, photoshop cc, amd fx-8350 cpu and amd hd7970 gpu.
Have you tried digikam? It's free/opensource and has flat folder viewing with subfolders afaik. I can't find any information on whether it supports 32 bpp images but given that it costs nothing shouldn't be hard for you to test.
