Hello there! Operation Black Mesa is a Source Engine Mod with the purpose of recreating and interpreting (not a 1:1 remake, that would be boring! :P) the award-winning Half-Life Expansion-pack: Opposing Force - The epic singleplayer alongside the outstanding multiplayer, delicately recreated with the latest Source engine,…
What is "The Vale" ? What is the extent of fear? This is the question that we love to ask, and one that we strive to answer. The Vale is designed to do exactly that ; to re define Horror. To drive fear into the player at a Psychological Level is no easy task, however it is one that we are determined to attempt. The Vale…

See that little bit of a polygon hanging out in the gray area for your brick texture? That's what the seam is. It's wrapping around to the other side in the middle of a polygon. Your texture isn't perfectly tileable. If it were, there would be no seam there as the edges of the texture would match up. I never used Quixel so…

What is bad is taking a picture from cgtextures slapping it onto a model and calling it a difuse or albedo. 90% of texture work I see around its pretty bad to be honest, yes thats my opinion. I am talking about "photoreal" texuring (I do textures…
