Hmm, there're many specific way to get the nice face topology. Most follow the same rules, though. Not bad on the eye. You can add more loops there, and define her eye lids and such too if you want. And the corners of her eyes too. Create loops around her nostrils, and a loop around her mouth, and another loop around her…
looks like basic motion is in, too stiff i think though, add some secondary motion. give the guy some character now that he has basic motion. also in your movie if its a loop you can change your code to this so it loops.
pretty much…
Having a hard time selecting stuff in max compared to xsi. I feel as though i'm spending most of my time selecting stuff than actually modeling. :( Any tips? Also why does max not class internal edge loops, as loops? i.e. if you inset the top of a cylinder, then try to run the loop select on the newly created edges it…
[ QUOTE ] Getting there. I think polygons with many sides are no better than triangles, try to keep more quads. And avoid loops that don't contribute to the shape or at least keep it, the chin's loops will cause problems (making it look too hard edged) when subdivided. [/ QUOTE ] Is it because of too many loops around the…
peanut ... I don't get that one although I know a lot of people seem to like it. You don't get any control. With the existing loop tool, you click - drag the loop into place - release. I don't see why that's a slow process worthy of replacing with something that offers less control. In fact, if you don't drag the loop…
Hopy this isn't too basic, havn't found a clear answer to this problem. I recently trying to really get into 3d this time and i'm wondering why the general consensus seams to be to do the fencing with support loops instead of just making a grid. I know that you, at times don't want to a grid-based mesh for reasons, but if…
Yeah exactly. Some small things worth mentioning though: Don't terminate loops unless you have a good reason to. It's a lot easier to make changes if you can just select a whole single loop, or run extra loops without having to do any manual edits around terminations. I also like to work with pretty much everything snapped…
