You might want to take a look at Pueblo eagle dancers; they're probably the closest (that I know of, at least) to what you are trying to do. Some Navajo skin-walkers (a combination witch/shape-shifter) are said to take on the forms of owls, but they are seen as the epitome of evil.
Yes, another project. This one I finished a few months ago, but I always had this feeling that I could improve the texturing and lighting. So here is version 2.0 This model was made after Fantasy Flight's Dust Tactics miniature games. Tris 70772 4k Textures https://www.artstation.com/artwork/A9VD95
Right a new year and not one model finished yet. Doh But enough with the guns. MECHS only this time First of A walker Mech, yeah. Concept-artist : MoOn ( have it in a book, so will see if i can scan it ) Lets do some powerplay, blocking the Leg thanks
i'd say the only influential person working at Valve is a man named Robin Walker. Because, back in 1996, that class based teamy thing was a hell of an influence. He deserves a lot more credit for influence than Gabe Newell, and i'm not even counting TFC or TF2.
I played some Serious Sam HD this morning and got inspired to remake some of the enemies. This is the Biomechanoid Major. I am reworking the creature to be a giant slug attached to a chicken walker which is more or the less the idea behind the original design [I think]. The box is human size ref.
With uni done for this year i needed a summer project. Saw this concept a couple of days ago and loved it. I aim to create a low poly game version eventually but for now just some crazy high poly. Concept by charles lee. Going to try get my head around floating geo while i'm at it. Need to fix the leg proportions a tad...
I thought zombies were supposed to be undead, and slow walkers? Usually these kind of fast ones I consider infected... I dunno it looks interesting but I'd have to see more then animated flooding infected climbing walls... I prefer actual people :o I'll be watching for more details.
The second point is totally understandable - implausible indeed (just like Big Boss having the option of being half naked in Peace Walker and MGS3 hehe) However I think that the first point doesn't hold ; MGS5 is 18+, making it not appropriate for kids anyways - just like porn or violent movies.
Oh, I'm sorry, totally forgot about that. It is a wahammer 40k dreadnought. A walker-tank that can carry a wide array of weaponry. Here is one of the pictures I use for reference. It is also available as a miniature for a board game called 'warhammer 40k'. I own one of these miniatures and also use it as reference.
finally played this... hot damn I'm sold. Fuckin A! and one of the best mech walker experiences in a videogame.. damn those missiles are sweet, streams of lead death.. feels like you're the tank from ghost in the shell, and all the soldiers are trying to hide behind stuff you just blast to smithereens.. SOLD
