Great start, here's my 2 cents. Also if you're going to bake this down to a normal mapped low poly asset keep in mind that any inset details that you want to show up in the normal map should go like \_/ rather than |_| otherwise they won't get picked up in the bake. Hope that helps :)
Learn parts of anatomy at a time don't explode your brain by trying to learn the entire body at once (form is different how ever) but i guess the way i would go about it would be to learn basic form then break it down to like torso, back, arms, legs, that sort of thing. My 2 cents
Your prop designs are really nice :) thats your strength imo. My 2 cents, try not to use full value range on every object/character/piece. Limit your value range for different parts and it will have a better read. Maybe this is a good read for you: Dota 2 character art guide pdf
Ok, I got a few comments about the sculpt. It doesn't look like that stone should be soft like its weathered by water... feels unnatural. And the formation of the rocks doesn't feel right to me, nor the cracks. But thats just my two cents. other people may think it looks natural or look right.
I think the blade looks to much like it's made of gold, or is at least to yellow, which gives it the appearance of an artefact rather than a weapon, if this is your intention then by all means do keep it this way, but giving it a colder appearance like in your concept might be better. just my 2 cents. other than that…
their marketing scheme is that a charge for like 2-5 bucks a month shows up on your bill plus an extra 99 cents or so per message. they can really fuck you in the ass unless you have a mega ultra HDTV to read the small ass fine print on the screen. in fact, i smell a lawsuit!
my two cents, TNO, people aren't saying your model is creepy to insult you, they are expressing their opinion, and one of the worst things you can do is ignore or disregard comments about your artwork because you don't like what they are saying. after some googling I turned this up, maybe it can be of use
press p to set pivot when what you want to rotate around is centered or click the set pivot button the right hand side, it is located under the local transformation button.. ***edit actually you dont even have to cent the object.. just press it when everything but what you want to rotate around is centered..
too many gimmicks would derail too much from the original gameplay and confuse the players, I think his shield idea is perfect on that sense, people will remember that map as "the ctf where you have the shields to disable to get the flag", which is good, more isn't always better. just my 2 cents tho
This is sweet ! You should maybe make the pineapple leaves from scratch, it will not take long and look much better. Furthermore I wonder if some of the fruit could use a little SSS to enhance their "fleshy" look. Just my 2 cent here but I feel the lemon and orange shader could be improved, it still is a bit fake.
