This looks like a fun project and the progress so far is promising. Very nitpicky, so feel free to ignore: I think some of the cracks on the face are a bit random. They go in all directions rather than following some internal structure or weak points, and some of the widest, most open parts are in flat or depressed areas… -

Unless I am mistaken, the light/medium/heavy weight classes can be pretty much ignored by the skin painter. The mod tools expect specific names for the vehicle entries, which then point to the files on disk. If the names are correct it figures out what armor class it goes under. Hey man, For the Mask rotation, you are going to want to move it to the spot, then freeze your transforms. Then weight it 100% to said bone. If it's still giving you wonky rotations I would recommend moving your pivot point on top of the said bone, so if it rotates for some weird reason on its own it will be forced to… -
