You can still get things from Blender to ZBrush without GoZ; it's just a bit more of a hassle. Export the object as an obj, then import the obj into ZBrush.
Yeah, it was the .obj. I tryed it with .3ds now and everything worked fine, stupid max! Is there a good obj. import export plugin that would solve such problems with this format?
Hi I have been trying to learn Mudbox for the last month but have had very little success as I seem to be unable to correctly utilise the extracted maps in Maya, in particular the Displacement map. I have tried many times but have yet to get any result that resembles the original high-res model that I created in Mudbox. I…
i'd like to toss in a request for an obj.. or preferably an fbx, seeing as max's obj export usually results in totally FUBAR'd polygonal messes for xsi.
It`s ok with HP and LP. I solved it with exporting triangulated fbx files insted of OBJ lol. Maya does not record smoothing groups when exporting in obj
if resetxform and collapse doesnt work, export the model as obj and reimport, and works again, but thats for a not super high poly mesh as exporting does on obj is a masive pain in the ass.
No push does not do that. Are you exporting using .obj by any chance? You should turn off all options underneath the "Optimize" heading if you are using .obj.
