HI! The composition works well and the posing are dynamic :) But I think it lacks a little bit of story telling? I think it could help to make them look at each others or have a similar goal, to make them interact with each other. Riot does it a lot for promotional illustrations :) Keep up the good work !
Whilst I agree that the thought of Iran with nuclear capability is terrifying and that this is a very tricky matter to resolve, I do hope that you understand that including 'They have resources we want' as a reason to attack them illustrates quite well why the US is seen as an Imperialist, fat, greedy bully throughout a…
Ok, new book I am looking for! This time I remember the book being rather large in print. Every page is full-colour illustrations and it was, I think, about a tea-party with animals. There was a kid who was hidden in each page and I believe there was another underlying mystery to the entire book. Sound familiar?
Thanks for the feedback Doodlok! I have been using some softer brushes, but I can see how that can suck the character out of things. My materials are definitely not strong yet, looking at Riot illustrations kind of casts my work in stark relief. I look forward to your continued feedback!
Yeah i can see what you guys mean, found a pretty good illustration of the area that ill look at to try and fix it. The transition between the hips and the legs i was planing to make it really fleshy/stringy like i have here and there in the sculpt but it isnt done yet. Be back with an update later today.
That didn't seem to be your point but fine. MY point was that many people (specifically littleclaude in this case) irrationally dismiss the responsibility of the parent whenever there is a gun involved. This is a logic impairment that doesn't affect people when thinking about the dangers of other things such as swimming…
Tons better with this lighting. My critique would be that now we have illuminated areas in the image but they don't spill over onto the scene. There's all these bright dots but they don't do anything for you at the moment. Did a super quick paint-over to illustrate what I mean. Can't wait to see where this goes :)
Another option would be to create custom brush alphas from the reference image using Photoshop or Illustrator and using those alphas to stamp out the shape details in ZBrush. Here's an example of this process (starts at 1:02) and an ArtStation link to the finished result: https://youtu.be/4IM498Fx1pg?t=62…
Well, this is incredible. Love how the character turned out. I kind of like how a lot of her is hidden in the shadows in the latest update. While it's not showing off the model fully, it does work well as an illustration. Agree on the rim light, though. Could be good to use one to separate the character from the background…
Hey guys i pushed the sketch a bit further to be able to see more in details the model. Of course some pieces and details will need to be a bit bigger in 3d. And did you think it could be possible to post this reference i made for 3d as an entries for illustration? Don't be shy and give me some advice and feedback ;)
