Perhaps they need to add some kind of weapon decay system "Your Kritzkreig blew up in your face. Would you like to replace if with another from your stash?"
Hi, So I'm making a vehicle that has some decals on it. Since I want the decals to have chipped paint, I chose to not mask out the decal material in the ID map, but rather to add a custom, independent mask for it. I am trying to import this mask as a custom grunge map in the dynamask editor. This procedure isn't really…
Looks pretty cool so far. The mortar kinda looks like cloth due to weird wavy blotches here and there. Also good start on decay. Please post concept/reference as I have nothing to compare it to...
lookin' good. the colors you have there now seem slightly overdone though. they mostly make me think of bruises or a decaying body (frostbitten perhaps?). reference pics you posted don't give me that impression.
very nice, all that stuff feels like it really was pushed down by gravity and decay, rather than being placed there. i hope that current doors are placeholders and that you will make proper doors like ones on the photo.
A trimsheet can be as complex as you want it to be. You could use a tiling default concrete texture on UV set 1 und have wear or other things for Edges on UV set 2. Or use decals to do that.
your right about the muddyness, but its kinda the style of the set. still figuring out the name. rotten knowledge ghost of memories decay of century something like that ingame shots n'stuff comes tomorrow. me so tired
was looking through my shelves at home for something completely different and saw [ame="https://www.amazon.co.uk/Beauty-Decay-Urbex-Urban-Exploration/dp/0955912148"]this book[/ame]. thought it might be useful if you dont have it already
Nicely done, the decay on the smoke particles is bang on. I have to agree with Brad on the gun though. Setting a bit of a quality contrast as the material kinda reads like concrete to me. Nice project, you did a great job :)
Here's an update. Lots of work on the boots and pants. Just starting to do some of the decay on the moose head. I want to make sure it looks like a hat/mask/helmet rather than some creepy antho guy.
