Familiarity should be no problem, I still shit myself when I play the avp games. As long as they make it a threat, and dont have rubbish washed out cgi as in the first AVP film, it should be scary barring other erroneous decisions.

Look at your favorite anime that feature CGI characters or whatever. In credits there are always names of companies that worked on it. Then just google that. For games I imagine that outsource studios should be credited too, you can easily find credit rolls on Youtube.

there was athing in the mirror newspaper about it, they said it was 3 different dancers doing the moves and it was mocapped into a PC and kelly animated onto the mocap. it looks really fake in places and you can tell it's CGI, not like the breakdancing transformer citreon which looks real.
