Decided to step out of my comfort zone and stop lurking so much. I haven't been doing CG all that long but for the most part I've just been doing a lot of "normal" modeling i.e. chairs, buildings, so i think the sci-fi aesthetic should teach me a lot. Here's my blockout so far. -

Damn it, PC ate my post. In short, yea it drives me crazy too, mostly with splines. I hate having to stop creating a spline, move the viewport and then go back into the spline properties (which are a desperate need of resorting) click on the last knot, and hit insert THEN I can start drawing again... so many wasted steps… -
