isnt this a case of monitor calibration over photoshop being wrong? once 127/50% grey is gamma reversed its going to be 50% grey in linear space. if you manually correct it to 187 its going to be 75% grey in linear space. my brain hurts :/
Looks awesome :) Definitely needs a snowman version of that monster guy though, maybe as a prop or maybe another character type. Icicles will look great on those mushrooms. Rotating some of those ground tiles 90 or 180 degrees might help hide the repetition a bit.
Oh god please use some smoothing control. Right now it's hard to tell what is the geometry because of that 180' smooth. Either set smaller smoothing angle or use FWN script: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=85809
My wife who is in grad school, can pick up a copy of Photoshop CS5 Extended for about $180, which is a massive discount. As long as you have a valid student ID, you should be able to get a good discount somewhere.
i went and got a 180 gb laptop drive and a usb enclosure. the best part is the HD is powered from the usb so you you never have to plug it in. not carrying around another power brick in your backpack is really nice.
Nice one man. How big is the texture. Crazy it's only 800 tris, good work. Do you know if the 360 secret characters were ported to the ps2 version? (zombie dick, the blink 182 guy, my voodoo doll)
it's not public i'm afraid, they're just ironing out bugs. Shouldn't take long till release i hope. They have a free 30 day trial version for modo 103 and i'm sure they'll have the same for modo 201
Thnx for advices. I fixed that things u were talking about. Now im slowly moving into detial. Model is HP. Has something about 1.3 mln tri heheh Nop it is premantntly closed. :) Here is new up: And a head.
