So I got a fix from Pixologic that is pretty easy if anyone else experiences problems activating. Just delete the Zstartup > CustomUserInterface4$2.cfg file and re-do the activation process.
Problem fixed. Solution: After uninstalling zbrush, do not leave any remnants of it in your Program Files folder. Delete the entire pixologic folder from your program files, then re-install.
I think that button is labeled Standard in ZB2. Still in the topright corner. The standard .cfg file is called UIStandard.cfg and can loaded by pressing CTRL+L finding it in Pixologic\ZBrush2\ZData directory.
Lots of VR this year.... like practically every other booth was dealing with VR in some form. I miss Pixologic's presence though. Zbrush summit down at Gnomon just isnt the same...
I have to agree with Neox I know Pixologic is really trying to convince people to do hard surface modeling in ZBrush but traditional modeling is still many orders of magnitude faster and cleaner.
This does look mightily impressive stuff. Can't wait to see what else Pixologic have got up there sleeves. Hopefully, they'll not forget to fix some of the more annoying quirks of zbrush.
I think it is offensive how expensive Autodesk makes maya for how little information on the more important and basic necessities that they provide. It would be really nice if they approached their products like Pixologic does.
There's a preload for GoZ, usually looks like this: eval("source \"C:/Users/Public/Pixologic/GoZApps/Maya/GoZScript.mel\""); I think its in docs\Maya\usersetup.mel ? If not, then Maya\2016\scripts\usersetup.mel
[kubEdit]after investigating, we found this link does need to come down. this was the full version, not cracked or reg'd, but something that requires a registration with pixologic to get and we don't have permission to hand it out. [//kubEdit] Enjoy !!!.
I'm looking to sell my Zbrush license for PC for $500. It is a full version with lifetime upgrades. The exchange is fully legit and Pixologic plays the middleman in the transfer. If interested, please contact me at: bboyd829@gmail.com Thanks, Brendan
