[Maya] Modular unwrap
Hi. I got some problems with unwraping models that are supposed to be modular buildings. As you can see on the screenshot - the front wall face on the right is smaller that on the left. Not only smaller, but also is rotated by 90deg. It's easily fixed though, unlike the size. It happens because auto-unwrap tool stretches… -

Awesome amount of scale here, but I think as a whole, you are really missing a focal point and are creating a lot of visual noise. Cheers! Kind of, I have a couple of modular kitbash kits used to build specific things but for the most part, I tend to just strip big pieces off ships and put them on other ones. All the white paneling especially just uses a simple tiling texture that I hand-place UVs on to get interesting breakup going. Kind of, though… -
