Hey man, sorry, but I did receive the 2.5 update. I have a second email for PayPal that I rarely check and I just found it today. I got it on 28th Nov. Thanks.
Refined the head a lot more. It's slowly getting there! 2.5 weeks til the deadline, I'm going to be re-topping this model soon and then getting around to texturing it. Don't be shy guys, comment away! :poly136:
Its Sinusitis. Ive had it for 2.5 weeks. Get lots of fluids, and stay away from caffeine, chocolate, cigs, wheat products, cheese, etc... Rest as much as possible and sleep sitting up.
I do not have a credit card...It's a 249$ dollar program because I live in Canada. I may need to activate three cards, two 100$ and a 25$ which will add a 15$ fee. Is there a way to use Paypal instead? Thanks. (UPDATE) I bought it on Steam all good now.

So i'm curious as to what is cheaper on a game. Higher poly counts on character (lets say a MAXIMUM of 24k tri count) with 1 2048 texture or a lower poly count (lets say a MAXIMUM of 12k tri count) with 3-4 textures. I've always wanted to know what is more expensive on the system. Thanks :)
Hey folks. Trying to create a simple shape here using a rev around curve function. However I am getting some weird shading problems I am not sure how to fix. Any help would be great! Cheers. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/248/capturecurveproblem.jpg/
Hi Polycount! This is my first project post, and I was hoping to get some feedback and critiques. This is a portfolio piece based on concept art for The Illusionist, found here (image 145). Please critique anything, though the things I'm less confident on are composition and lighting.
The 5 rays 20 max steps is around 2,5 ms on 1080p. It could be optimized a little bit by using a lookup texture for the random directions, instead of using cell noise. But the global distance field samples are much more expensive than the cell noise itself... Not good, not horrible.
