Yes, if your 4% is set to 56 that means you're authoring the content for sRGB (gamma space), so the texture should be loaded as sRGB. If you loaded it as linear space it would not apply gamma correction, which means it would be 22% rather than 4%, which would be incorrect. -
Re: Monitor Sizes beyond 24"
I use a 27" DELL (2560x1440) and after a few years of use I'd rather have two or three smaller 22-24 ones, or go with a very large 32 inch 4K. A 27 takes up a lot of space and isn't that much bigger than a 24 inch. -

Hate to say it 22, but I think the GT-R is one of the most hideous looking things Nissan has put out in a while, even worse than the headlight / taillight redesign on the Z. (And it can be beaten by a factory supercharged Corvette ... nevermind those transmission rules Nissan has ;) ) -
