Going through Tim's ( @rascal ) AKM tutorial now to learn 3DSMax and Substance Painter. Great tutorial and I've learned a lot! Just finishing up the high poly here and then onto unwrapping and texturing.

wow if thats true that really is annoying. Surely in 10+ hours of tutorial there must be mention of characters and weapons and how to bring them and and use them? I also went for CE especially for these kind of tutorials.

I checked out bobo's vertex bake tutorial (http://www.bobotheseal.com/tuts_vertex_bake01.htm), and was wondering if the same thing is possible in Maya 6.0, so far google has not helped much, was wondering if anyone knows it's possible and if a good tutorial exists. Would be much appreciated!
