Sword feels a bit out of place to me. Would be cooler with a big knife or something less classic. Also I think it should hang from the side by practical reasons. Looks interesting otherwise. The previous one was great so I have no doubt this one will be the same. -

Right on, thanks guys. I made my road with the lines tool, drew the outside, then drew inside, connected... I might try doing it that way too. Gotta redo it but it should tex better and it's good practice. Thanks for the tip :) --Edit., yeah working like a charm :) -

Take a break? Find other activities to engage in for a while, practice healthy habits, give your brain a chance to miss the art-creation process. It's amazing the amount of creativity and inspiration/motivation your brain can conjure up with a simple vacation away from the every day grind. -

Yes, in production, having multiple assets that would normally be on screen at once reference one texture set (instead of a few) reduces many drawcalls, but in your instance, I really wouldn't worry about overhead performance in engine when all you are doing is just portfolio/practicing. -

No that's ok. In practice, all the various fundamentals will impact most any art discipline. That's why they're called fundamental.
