Saw it...just got back. Real COOL! This is a much more digestable approach for me. I don't enjoy the campy, corny other versions....nearly as much. I also agree that the fight scenes needed some more defined scenes....not all a bunch of blurry close in action, ya know? Goo see it soon, eh? -

Sometimes things just go wrong with your mesh ... not sure why and how, but you could try saving the file starting new scene and just merging your old mesh in to the new scene and try to export it from there or convert it to editable mesh and back to editable poly ( assuming it was editable poly) . Those tricks work… -

Well, my idea was a scene based off a really bizarre scene I witnessed back in December. So, I was walking to the bus stop, and right there near the bus stop, there was a car crashed into the fire hydrant, the sidewalk was buckled and a tiny mini-water fall was pouring out of the crack between the curb and the sidewalk.… -

And here is what I have so far! Initial light setup in a fresh scene using just primitives to get the mood I liked Now moving that lighting over to the Courtyard scene - Its a start but I think it needs a bit more contrast. Going to start add in props and create a bit of a story out of the images. -

Nice work AXEL ! for presentation crits i think toning down the fog might help you get the details to be more visible. As for the lighting, you have a few lamps in your scene but their light doesn't affect the scene from the look of it.Maybe giving it more intensity to affect the surrounding areas can help you in that… -

Looking good, the textures are nice. As for making it a night scene, i would do exactly what toren3d, Although it might be beneficial to the over all effect of the scene to add a light source "other the the moon" with a kind of glow effect. And on the nit picky side of things, why make the ground a box? wouldn't a plane… -

Why is it floating in the sky? (unless you were just joking) What you have so far looks good. I would recommend to start making some props to help give life to your scene. Adding another dirt and grunge pass would help give your scene more character. Keep at it. :) -

Not a pro, but yes, keep anything you think might be useful later. If you got a complicated scene and want to keep it clean, export that as an fbx with a descriptive name in a smartly named folder just for items like that. If the scene isn't huge with tons of stuff, just toss it into a group that can be hidden away until…
