I take it from the bin labeled 'Body Parts', that he's a very well organized psychopath. Definitely way too bright if you're going for the eerie mood. Try dimming the room, and try emphasizing the candle light more. Would love to see some wireframe renders and a polycount too.
Looking really good man. Can we get some wireframes as well? The texturing and modelling seems to be pretty sound, but I really think the lighting could be pushed a bit further. Everything seems to be lit in a pretty flat manner. Get some deeper shadows and hotter light sources.
I agree with an earlier poster that the hands and feet on the Magician look small. Also, you have so much geometry in his face, but haven't modeled fingers that can articulate. (Like he's wearing mittens) Perhaps if we could see the wireframe for the body it would help to critique the anatomy.
Hey Wesley it looks great! I am just curious is maybe you could post up some wireframes. I am curious if, for a lot of the details and small paneling, if that is actually modeled in and subdivided, or if you sculpted in those details in Zbrush/Mudbox... Thanks for any help. Looks AWESOME
In the viewport ? Check "Thick" in unwrap modifier/configure In the editor ? It should be fluo green already. You can chose the color in options>preferences of the unwrap window. Note that the edges color in the unwrap is the wireframe color of your object, so if it's black or gray, you'll have hard time to see them.
tnx for the comments guys, i'll make the site extend downwards to view the content instead of using the little box so you get to see bigger images at once. i'm also going to add the wireframe shots for the lowpoly ones barnstable: tnx i'm going to adjust those proportions
Thank you the polycount is on 129 now, i think i understood it right? I tried to find some wireframes from buildings in games like Assassin Creed, without luck! But my last problem is that the window frame is inside the house, but if i put it in it will show off wrong. Is there a solution there?
Could you give some simple renders, just the normals (no diffuse), no white outlines. Just simple black wireframe on a clay render? I think I see a few really simple ways to save a lot of polygons, but I can't quite focus with the complex rendering style and the triangulation.
Wow, some really amazing stuff here. Can I see a wireframe of the guns you have running in the viewer? I love the destroyed condos and all the art looks very photo real, nice job! Wait, is the gun comped into that shot, the aliasing looks different than the pillar?
Really solid work there! I like your newer stuff alot. But one thing i concidered when i made my portfolio blog is that if you have few stuff to show. Try to fill the page out with info, like wireframe shots or images from your texture.
