No indoor tracks around you? No treadmill? Get some of that under armour cold weather gear. Shits great. I use it for a variety of activities and it really does work. Just don't slip on ice and bust your ass or get nailed by a snow plow.
I think this is looking pretty neat! My only crit is maybe the face shield at the stomach area might be a little too smooth looking, the body as well but i suppose thats not the main focus and its mostly covered by the armour.
Sticking with the limited edition, it's price is being brought down in line with the regular edition over here. Wanted the Hobbe figure though :/ Bonus content is still an extra dungeon, a legendary weapon, spartan armour and energy sword from halo.
Primal Nature: Bloodshed is a new upcoming mod for Crysis. I am currently recruiting basically every posible position there is. I have little skill in texture but i can Zbrush,so im in need of some of the talented modelers/texture artist of polycount. Plot Plot Set in 2137,Massive space explorations, and planet wide wars…
If it's a Krogan from Mass Effect it needs a bigger head. Needs hard edges on the armour and more importantly needs to be embedded on the forum, another click is going to put people off. Avoid rendering on black unless you're rim lit it as well, the shadows meld into the background.
These are all awesome. I'm amazed at how many different looks you can get out of one model. I'd have to say my faves so far are Moose's and Mr_Rockstar's. That battle armour elf looks like she's ready to kick some ass.
solar: yeh thats what i did and it worked, the cage was still around the low poly and it worked fine. diZzyWalnut: Thats an awsome tutorial cheers, i will give that a go and compare the results. The detail from the armour seems to pop out, it looks awsome.
"The president's cannons" - The Spanish guy from RE4 Well, I suppose it wouldn't be a RE game without a damsel that makes princess peach look competent. At least in RE4 you could put Ashley in the suit of armour and forget about her.
I agree with Missberetta, the curvature of the muscles definitely needs blending in. I would also dirty up the metal of the blade and the armour. Make it look worn and turn, blood splatter, dirt, etc. Right now its just too clean.
Last images of the first character coming soon. Till then here is a shot of the first one. I am going for a Titanfall / Blacklight esc look. The armour breaks up a lot of the female forms, especially the chunky shoulder pads. Thoughts and CC?
