Phong and cubemaps only work together for the orange box engine meaning ep2/tf2 etc a way to control the enviroment map strength would be $envmaptint which adjusts the cubemaps color and thus by turning it more dark you get a less prominent environment texture. Nice! There are a few inconsistencies here and there but it's nice. I am trying to model from references too on some much simplier enviornments and the floor and ceiling heights from a single photo can be tricky. -

Yea MoP - these (and more) were in PC gamer a few months back. Q4 is supposed to have huge outdoor large outdoor enviornments as well though. It'd be nice to see if they can pull it off. -

Assignment for school, the face isn't very worked on yet - but I have until monday to finish this and an enviornment to go with it. Thinking about a run down alcoholic-ish pad (dirty mattress and stuff). Crits and stuff very wellcome. Cheers :)
