Hello, I'm wasker, I draw pictures. It's a base building for a RTS kind of game. The skulls are supposed to be stacked on the shelves at the sides of the crypt. Was thinking of getting some nice warm eerie glows from the candles and perhaps a cold light snaking out of the door when the player is building units from it.
I saw a really interesting article Riot released about the popularity of champions and how the monster-types seem to lack appeal for the majority of players. After reading it, I decided to challenge myself and take on the exploration of a void-born! I'd really appreciate any feedback. Enjoy!
Hello Polycounters, So thats my first challenge. I chose Pool Party Lucian, i think he`s a "fotevoley" player! And it will be a pleasure to have the opportunity to learn with you. Reference board: My progress up until now
Preamble: Angels Fall First has existed for a few years now as a modification for Homeworld 2 and Nexus, and also has its own game engine in development. The end goal is to complete our own engine and publish the complete Angels Fall First game. The end product is anticipated to include both RTS and FPS elements,…
Here is my final concept for the turret rework. I decided to drop the minion idea, considering Riot had already explored that concept :) (For the old LoL players, does the helmet ring any bells? ;p)
Streetfighter 4, does the PC version work with 2 player on the same puter with 2 different joysticks? Im not going to use LIVE if I can help it. I can play with a co-worker on freetime.
This. Players do need quick reactivity from their characters when playing so, transitions between cant be smooth and more often have to be fast.. However, I dream one day, a developper will find a solution for this.
The architecture totally makes me think of Korriban, the Sith homeworld. Don't you just love it when a level scale is bigger than the player? :P That last picture has some great composure and lighting.
Yeah, trying not to sweat it, haha. One more thing, should I include soft skills like good team player, good work ethic, communication skills? And if so, where would be best to incorporate it?
thanks for the feedback dude! As far as the ending goes, yeah it was assuming the player would take over but I think it would be fine if she just settled into a final pose facing the camera. I'll play around with that.
