ok lets say i am fine with the textures what about the polygons for example most of the fur on the boots i have take atleast 3-4mb alone what if u also have hair+ weapons on the scene and stuff
Looking great so far! Loving all the detail on the clothes and weapon. I think her hands do need to be a tiny bit bigger, I could be wrong though.. arms/ hands always gives me grief too.
It really does come down to that lol. Also I fail to see how cupping a f*ing mouse and right-clicking to ironsight for hundreds of hours in COD compares IN ANY WAY to actually firing a weapon effectively in real life.
I like the subtle weapon bounce. Only glaring thing IMO I can see is the sudden body tilt when on the stairs. Basically give it some weight when it steps up. Keep it up though this is pretty cool.
I had read in some forums that the visibility tool for landscape had some bugs like missing weapon bullets. But it seems to be working well for me now. Thanks man, I'll try visibility paint with static meshes as fillers.
This looks like it could be good but will probably end up failing my expectations. Another visual demo rather than an awesome game with unique characters, abilities and weapons unique to characters, awesome sidequests and mini games, and a riveting story.
Well, I dunno.. Imagine this.. when you get his arms on.. how big are they going to be how is he going to put the weapon in there, I say go with the arms first and then put theholster on.. but thats just me but the belts perfect
Usually menus, HUDs, in-game interactive screens, weapon overlays... anything which requires some sort of interactive user interface, really. I guess in some cases it could also extend to installer or game launcher design too.
Oops I was wrong, the thread I recalled had nothing to do with Gwot, but everything to do with great tips... modeling hi poly weapons is painful, any tips? (found this today while rummaging in my saved-threads library)
Needs a fuse at the back of the barrel. Oh and is this a first person weapon model only (since you left out the trigger)? If that is the case you can leave aout a lot more than just the trigger! Otherwise not bad for coders art
