Update: Just did a bake with jitter turned off and it looks bad like before. I'll continue using jitter to offset the low-res look but jitter also adds noise to the map, so I guess I'll blur it out to blend the pixels but I'll keep looking for a solution because it seems like this isn't normal. Ok. So i started letting more of the tones bleed through (the main purpose is supposed to exaggerate the variances in the tones, thus the older man with more translucency in the skin). They are too procedurally noisy and don't have enough variation between different surface types. Currently your textures look like you have run a photoshop filter over them. How are you creating these textures? If you're aiming for a more realistic style, use photographs as blending layers or points of reference for painting in detail by hand. humm I'm not so sure I like the photochopped scarf next to the hand painted textures. I think a fleece scarf would work better than a knit one. Ever since shaders were introduced graphics cards stopped sorting alphaed polies properly, they're drawn in the order the app sends them now. Some engines sort alpha polies before drawing (AFAIK Unreal does that), others don't. Your best bet is to apply alpha only to the polies that absolutely need it and use alpha test…
