try unhooking everything that isn't necessary to starting the computer. Use onboard video and all that jazz. Take out extra hard drives. If you have replacement parts, try them out. Just try and narrow down whats broke. -

my vistas been totally ransaked by a trojan or two in the last few days, so im thinking this might be good for me too. is it easy to install with vista already installed, im a bit of a noob when it comes to replacing operating systems -

Another wasted thread, sorry lol. I just deleted the lights and replaced them and it's working okay now. Using the Photometric Free Light, sorry forgot to mention, is just a nice and quick light to add and gives nice results. :P But yeah, working now. But thanks :) -

99% of what it was used for didn't have a body showing. I'm not sure what version you were using, but ours didn't take much time at all. When we have full acting going on, we animate the faces by hand. Like you said, there's no replacement for that. -

ahh those epic faces! yes i did originally want to do them, but went in favor of a redesign to fit more with the developing style, but may add another more interesting piece to replace the one in between the waterfall to bring some more visual interest to that area. -

Just a quick update, I'm currently on refining the super blocky assets so that they have meaning and context. Hopefully its starting to define the scene a little better. It's all just 3DS Max work at the moment. I've added placeholder decals too but these will be replaced at a later stage. -

Further investigation reveals that for some reason all my case fans - connected to the power supply - have simply stopped running, overheating the machine. Crazy. Power supply will be replaced. I'll watch it for a bit longer but it seems Unreal may not be the culprit after all. This time, anyway. :) -

It's ALIIIIIVE!!! :D Had to replace my gallery plugin but now we're up-ish and running again. I'm in the process of restoring all my content but feel free to drop a comment on the layout and feel of the site. Btw, is it too slow? I feel it takes forever to load:( -

Try this Warren https://www.dropbox.com/s/cmw7awm0jx965wa/make_collisionShape.py?dl=1 Replace "make_collisionShape.py" with the above. It's a hack for the moment, so you have to make sure "Delete Source Geometry" is active. You will also be asked to "Select Element" just hit OK Let me know !
