remember that max isn't official supported on windows 7 yet so you can expect some issues. like pior said install service pack and hotfixes, and install latest drivers for graphics card and set windows 7 display options to best performance. max 2010 runs sweet for me and many others so it could be down to ghosts in your… -

I've had problems before with Max and WIn 7, there is some advice in the thread I started on CGtalk. In the end I bought a new Quadro graphic card, that actually didn't change anything but then I formatted my computer and reinstalled WIn 7 and only the programs I needed, Max is running well now.… -

not sure where the problem is, because supposedly installing this genuine advantage stuff on win 7 will be optional, just like it is currently on XP. However you want to do "custom" updates and manually uncheck this "patch", because otherwise it will be installed by default. So best set windows 7 to notify you of updates… -
