I like 3 and 1 around the same amount, but for different reasons. 1 is sombre, but it's nice. a lot of potentials for matching a similar feel to the original idea here. 3 is fun, though, with cool pin up potential. 2 misses the mark for me, personally. :)
Here is another fun one. This is a material with a little bit of opacity masking and such. I think I got pretty close on this one. The goal is not to replicate the art... but to replicate the fidelity. Once again made from a material instance of the Master Material I made in UE4. :)

Zwebbie : Uncharted is a very strange case. Having played only Uncharted 2 I have to say that I have no interest in the franchise at all, as I didn't see the point of the hero shooting his way through the adventure. I did hear that Uncharted 1 is much more platform oriented tho. As for Metal Gear, I am not quite sure to…
As far as I am aware, I never said I wasn't going to put in the effort to improve my basic modeling skills -- this thread was created for that exact reason. The fact that these were analyzed "for fun" doesn't necessarily imply that the *result* of said analysis is not *also* being taken seriously in addition to the "fun"…

Hey, this thread will be a Sketchbook for my art progression. I took a bit of a break from 3d, so I'm out of practice. I always used to get stuck on one project for months, making tiny adjustments - This year I'd like to jump back in and just have fun with it. (and maybe get better at the same time!) Any Advice/Comments…
Finally calling this one done! This was a really fun prop to create, from a concept made by Tony Zenitium. Modeled full in Blender, Textured fully with Substance Painter, and Rendered with Marmoset Toolbag 4! Some slight post effects added with Photoshop. Thanks for checking it out! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/d00mkA
Hey Polycount! Decided to sculpt for fun and it ended up spiraling into a batman sculpt. Which...then prompted me to keep going and do texturing rendering...etc... Everything is rendered in Arnold. Retopo in maya, as well as xgen hairs. Zbrush for baking displacement and sculpting. Marvelous designer for only the cape.…
