Thanks you two! I know the hammered details won't show, but it's fun to do anyway ;) The matcap is cmt_deep_bronze, it's from the pixologic download section / metal.
I dunno man, part of me says that if this means Pixologic will finally update GoZ to work with the latest versions of Maya that this can only be a good thing.
have you seen the Siggraph worksghop recap from pixologic? there is a workshop there from Jason martin (ID softwhere) going through his fibermesh workflow. Link
The Foundry and Pixologic should trade tech. Pixo gives Zremesher in return for Modo's quick posing tools which is much quicker and intuitive than it's IK-less TransposeMaster.
looks quite cool but how long would pixologic take to adopt their navigation to this - the usual three years? and... looking forward to wacom shipping this with a touch-enabled marking menu then. :)
Who's going? We will have a Dominance War booth(6324) in the Expo hall with some cool demos from Pixologic if your in the area stop by and see some of the fantastic artwork being displayed.
Hello!! This was completely sculpted in Zbrush and then baked into a lowpoly model in Maya. I was ask by Pixologic to do a presentation for BlueGFX in London. Here is what I showed them. Maybe post a video somewhere if I get it.
This. Can anyone name a single other software developer who handles updates the way Pixologic does? They get huge props from me for that, and I'm not even an avid ZBrusher.
Check the Video tutorial on the Pixologic website, there's a video about creating a pilar/ building by Sebastien Legrain..using a Projection Master..It should give you an idea where to start. _Revel
