Usually, that would be the plan, but without a roof over my head, electricity, food, and a net connection, it'll be hard to build a portfolio. I don't think there are many full-time jobs for toy/statue/mini work. There is a lot of freelance work floating around though. You can find some miniature game companies that require cg artists on kickstarter. I've managed to get toy work with just a game art portfolio, so I think you just need to demonstrate good… -

12 gigs is more than enough, i have 8 gigs in my machine and rarely/virtually never max it out, and i use my system as a dev machine(freelance etc), doing mostly highres modeling, bakes, large textures, etc. I can pretty much guarantee that unless you want to start running server applications you'll never need 24 gigs.…
