I did some volume textures awhile back for a proprietary 3d engine. Figured out a way using an animated Slice modifier in 3ds Max to render out meshes into volume textures. Also did tiling & looping animations as volume textures. That was a bit hairy though, and the results were a major memory hog. Fun to play with though!

Sadly,I modified the save file to 0 in the user preferences.Didn't like the way my folder containing files get quickly cluttered since I save a file I am working with very often. Wished I had saved an extra just in case which I normally do.Maybe I will have to start all over again.

Playing around with the eye height map depth slider. It's fun to experiment with pupil sizes on the fly and in context. Might modify the textures to have it be bigger. Might need to paint the rim of the eye lids same as the hair colors like I painted the scalp so it blends better with the hair. Happy with how dimensional…

Mainly the naked belly - feels more Tristana like to me. I will have to make some sketches for the gun too, even though we cant see much of it from this angle.
Thank you guys ! I tryied some things and firstly I put box projecton and everything fixed. I thought that I pressed something that moved some gizmos or someting, because my symmetry modifier was off as well. I was working along digital tutors tutorial about modeling low poly model but i used mine.
no need to worry about skinning. IK and Controllers are useful for any kind of animation. you can use audio controllers to animate objects to music instead of hand keying for instance. skin modifier is very flexible however and is useful in many situations. you can bind mesh to any other object: bones, splines, other mesh…
Hey there, The symmetry plane can now be deactivated (the button just next to the symmetry switch button in the toolbar). Moving the symmetry plane is on our list indeed. Also started some other bakings today to test the maps but there are still lots of thing to fix. However, if I am able to have all the bakings and textures done properly I could use them even after the module optimising the meshes without modifying the uvs maps, so here also some colour tests made today.
