cheers Notorious P.I.G . I have had seagate before, but always for desktop pc. My laptop is more of a desktop replacement so i need a bit more speed. anyway cool I will check out seagate too
you can convert/"bake" motion flow to a single anim, as far as i remember. however motion mixer has replaced it for me a long time ago. and yes, go follow a tutorial, the mixer is totally counter-intuitive at first.
The red bot was built off a concept from Supreme Commander so he'd need to replace it if he made his own game... I guess he could just add a few of his own contributions to the game, though.
I've been drooling over those shots since i got the newsletter. Man I hope this game is good. I've taken a small break from WoW, but this will surely be it's replacement when it ships. /me hopes to get in the beta
Going to give this a try. I've been using the beta of Headus UVlayout, which is very cool. The asking price for the final product is way too high in my opinion though, so if this is a good replacement then Headus will have stuffed themselves.
also, the polygon counter disappeared and was replaced with in-viewport stats ... i believe the default shortcut key is "7" if it's like max8, it'll put the details in the top left of whatever viewport you have highlighted when you press 7.
I have tried this tool and yes it fix the max default cut tool. So there is no half splited edges or unprecision resulting in vertices I’m the middle of nowhere. I approve that tool ! It should replace totally the default cut tool or default paint connect tool.
I have sort of a block out in max, but yeah, my next move is to get sort of the whole scene blocked out in udk and start creating all of the temp assets that will eventually get replaced. Hopefully I'll get some time this week to get that done!
Incorrect position issue can be fixed, if replace meshop.getFaceRNormals (it gives averaged normal on smoothed mesh, so grid's placement is not exactly on selected face) to getFaceNormal. Works only for "Align 2 FaceSel." Is there a way to adjust this script to work with vertex or edge selection (as in SuperGrid script)?
for work - windows 7. it came with the computer, it does the job and unless something awesome comes along that absolutely requires an upgrade it looks like it'll stay until i replace that machine. i use osx/mac os too but that's more for general computer use.
